Both Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall with its superb Topiary Garden are nearby, as are limestone escarpments for easy walking, offering thrilling views of the Lakeland Mountains, the Howgills and Morecambe Bay. The only minor problems were the microwave oven not working and the can-opener not working. Hopefully if we return I'll be able to fit in a round of golf and not just limit myself to a session at the driving range.
Debbie
House was ideal for a big group. Very comfy beds. Would recommend. Thanks
