Loughrigg View is a well-regarded holiday rental with stunning views and a prime location in Ambleside. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and thoughtful touches. The convenience of on-site parking and the proximity to local amenities are frequently praised. While some minor issues with maintenance and facilities are noted, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
Most guests found the property to be clean and well-maintained, though there was an isolated report of mould and a lack of thorough cleaning in the bathroom. This seems to be an exception rather than the rule.
The location is consistently praised for being central, quiet, and offering easy access to local shops, restaurants, and scenic walks, with the added benefit of off-road parking.
Guests find the beds very comfortable and the apartment homely and warm. There is a mention of creaky beds, but overall, the comfort level is rated highly.
The property is well-equipped with a kitchen, Sky TV, and books, though there are comments about the Sky TV being difficult to operate and a dishwasher handle needing attention. The lack of basic cleaning products and a tricky building entrance at night were also noted.
While guests mention the property being well-equipped and having a selection of books and DVDs, there are no specific references to gifts or special thoughtful gestures that would warrant a score in this category.

Well appointed. Well kitted out, especially the kitchen. Heating timing good. Well managed. Sykes helpful and well organised. Recently refurbished? We would book this apartment again. Most enjoyable and relaxing stay. Good location for easy access to the centre. Not on a main thoroughfare so quiet & peaceful. Well organised parking.
Helen
A warm and homely apartment with a short walk into centre. No need to use the car we took the bus on a few occasions.
