It was warm and clean and the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen really well equipped and the lovely lounge/dining room has lots of space and seating. The log burner was fantastic. Wi-Fi worked well, and the heating was easy to adjust. The listing made no mention of dishwasher or hairdryer , both of which were a nice surprise but it would have been helpful to know what we were getting there. There could have been clearer instructions about rubbish disposal, it was not clear which dustbin to use. The radiator valve in the main bedroom did not work so the people who slept in that room were too warm.

! Spend the first few days of our holiday hoovering up cobwebs from every corner. Not good!. By day three we had decided we had seen enough and left the cottage and relocated to an hotel. We contacted Sykes by telephone to let them know that we were leaving. I'm sure had we contacted Sykes on arrival they would have rectified the issues but the problem of cleanliness should not have been there. Will not recommend.
