Good place to stay you do have to travel to areas as it’s a bit out the way, a few things in the lodge could do with updating but it’s still good for what you need

Booked a premium hot tub lodge thinking would be better shape than some of the older cheaper models sadly the lodge wasn’t very clean on arrival cobwebs etc marks on walls dirt about Bathroom off main bedroom it took us 20 mins to kill all the baby spiders running across the ceiling and showers Decking not very clean or maintained didn’t sit out there once during a weeks stay due to green moss on all the furniture Hot tub was fully on view to anyone passing by main road or too neighbours due to fencing just being spindles yet lodges around us fencing was panelled for privacy After three solid days of no internet we asked just to be told no it drops out and comes back, like say we have stayed here many times and yes used to that happening but three solid days of no wifi unfortunately I had work to do while away so had to keep hot spotting but this wasn’t an issue it was just the general attitude of reception team very unbothered and almost like I was an inconvienience to them. We stayed a week and only once called in to ask about this and she couldn’t get rid of me quick enough. Never had this before usually really helpful We have stayed here many times sadly this will be the last the lodges desperately need an update and a good clean Such a shame as we love the place

A few bits could be updated, however makes no impact on the stay. The view we had was priceless
