Guests say

Eusebank is a well-regarded cottage in Penrith, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location close to local amenities and scenic walks. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, cosy atmosphere, and private garden. While the lack of Wi-Fi and dated decor are noted, the overall experience is highly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests consistently describe Eusebank as spotlessly clean, with several reviews highlighting the property's cleanliness as a key feature. The attention to cleanliness is a significant factor in guests' satisfaction.

The cottage's location is frequently praised for its convenience to the village centre, local pubs, shops, and scenic walks. Its proximity to Ullswater and the availability of parking are also appreciated, making it an ideal base for exploring.

Many reviews mention the comfort of the cottage, noting the cosy atmosphere, comfortable beds, and well-appointed living spaces. The garden is also mentioned as a pleasant area to relax, contributing to the overall comfort of the stay.

The property is generally well-equipped, especially the kitchen, but some guests missed having Wi-Fi and noted the interior is somewhat dated. The presence of a well-maintained garden and the mention of a welcome pack are positives, but the lack of certain amenities like a sieve and the expectation to prepare laundry before departure have been noted.

While guests have mentioned a welcome pack and the owners' warm reception, there are no specific references to gifts or additional thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

It's a clean, spacious, well laid out property, with generous off-road parking, and an excellent location, both for Pooley Bridge itself and also for exploring the surrounding Lakeland. We'd certainly consider booking again in future.
