This stunning detached Lakeland Farmhouse is the kind of idyllic holiday cottage which is sought by every one, but rarely found. Situated in the beautiful vale of Matterdale in almost an acre of grounds, with lovely views, large lawned garden and woodland providing a peaceful haven for bird life and wildlife. Inside the cottage is full of character, with original features including flagged floors, open fires and good quality furnishings. Matterdale lies between Keswick and Penrith, very close to Ullswater and with access from the M6 in 10 minutes.

Everything you would expect in a country cottage. Wonderful peace and quiet. Freedom in the grounds and country lanes. Short ride into Keswick. Perfect base for Lake District holiday.
