Ivy House is situated in a good location and comfortable for a week’s stay. House was warm with ample room. Enjoyed the hot tub, especially after a long walk, and loved the massive TV for a relaxing evening. The house has big potential and with a few small adjustments could be even better. EG: Steps to hot tub; outside seating; fix door handles/doors so they close; towel rails in bathrooms; welcome pack/folder providing details re property (use of bins, etc). We still had a lovely time and enjoyed staying at Ivy House.

Pros- Great location excellent walks close by, hot tub was brilliant and tv/cinema room was the best of any cottage we’ve been to. Cons- 2 out of the 4 beds were uncomfortable. Bathrooms were not user friendly. The downstairs bathroom was tiny and difficult to use. Kitchen table was not easy to fit legs under comfortably. Kitchen utensils, crockery and pots and pans need attention and sorting out. Stairs up to 4th bedroom difficult to use.
