Nice cottage good location. Was comfortable and we had a good time but felt the cottage could have been more clean. There was a yellow mark on one of the towels, my son's bed sheets had a brown stain and the washing machine was covered in dog hair. I also felt it could have been hoovered more thoroughly! Thank you

Excellent location, views are spectacular over Ullswater and the surrounding fells. Great base to explore walks around the area. Very well equipped kitchen (probably the best we’ve stayed in), spacious apartment that actually feels more like a cottage as it’s laid out over a couple of levels with it’s own main door. Only tiny downside is the bathroom being quite far from the bedrooms. If it was my place I’d find a way to put a wc on the large landing upstairs. Overall, it’s a lovely place, always nice and warm, comfortable, very welcoming of dogs which was a plus for us. Parking is tight but very manageable. Would highly recommend.
