We spent Christmas at Moor House, as we travelled from South Wales to spend it with our daughter who lives in Penrith. Plenty of room for 6 of us and the two dogs. The laundry/boot room was ideal for storage of the additional elements required in the festive period. Loved the map on the wall in the kitchen, it became a centre of many a discission. We would stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at Moor House. The house is perfectly placed for access to the West Lakeland area. Comfortable, clean and spacious enough for all of us. Close enough to Penrith Station and the M6 to be easily accessible. We were all sad to leave and hope to be back soon!

Moor House suited our needs for a short, family break with kids and Grandparents. There was plenty of space for everyone to be together, and separate if required. Off road parking for our two vehicles was really useful, as was the space to dry clothing after paddleboarding. The main bathroom was clean and looked freshly modernised and nice quiet location. The location was great being just a few mins drive from Penrith for quick supermarket runs and places like Keswick, Castle Rigg and Ullswater weren't far to drive to. We also enjoyed Lowther Castle which was only a few minutes away and found there was plenty to do without travelling too far and that suited a variety of requirements and levels of activity.
