There is a large kitchen containing all modern appliances. With the three kingsize bedrooms all on the same floor, master bedroom with oversized private bathroom, plus another with an option to split into twin beds, this exceptional lodge will have you feeling in total comfort in no time.
Situated in the small, rural village of Great Strickland in the Eden Valley, just 2 miles from the Lake District National Park and 6 miles from Ullswater. It benefits from easy access to the M6, and there are peaceful country lanes for cycling and walking on the Lakeland Fells or Pennine Hills. There is a village pub serving food, 100 yards from the house, with excellent amenities in Penrith just 5 miles.

Fabulous holiday nice and relaxed we were ment to be going elsewhere but unfortunately that was canceled .It is a wow when you walking in the size of the property the fixtures and fittings modern throughout only thing we found that was missing was a potato masher which I believe has been mentioned on a privious review . The coffee table in the living room has a few marks on though nothing to major but noticeable. The little village has nothing there so driving into Penrith is a must for shopping . The beds are lovely and comfy and the bedding feels luxurious, both bathrooms are pristine and modern .You need to take nothing washing liquid and sponge scrubs , tea towels ,oven gloves , dishwasher tablets and washing machine tablets all included along with hand wash liquid on the bathrooms sinks .I would 100% recommend this lodge if you enjoy peaceful holidays this is definitely the one for you .

This Lodge was perfect in every way. Modern, super spacious, clean, warm and had all of the required amenities we needed for a 4 night stay. We brought our own towels, tea towels, dish washer tablets etc - there was no need as it was all supplied.3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, huuuge open plan living/kitchen area, large surrounding outdoor seating area and ample parking.The smallest of issues was location, we knew this before we booked/travelled, but a 10minute drive into Penrith and you have access to everything. Wouldn't put us off booking again.Our family had a wonderful stay and WILL be back!
