This detached, roadside 18th-century cottage is situated just outside the village of Blawith, about 1 mile from the southern end of Coniston Water. The holiday cottage is surrounded by some lovely scenery, with good views from all windows. Renovated and refurbished the cottage still imaginatively retains all its original charm with exposed beams, oak doors, stone flag floors, wooden stairs, with the upstairs living room benefiting from the views. Shop 3 miles, pub 1 mile.

We had a nice time at this property. The house is quirky and has old features. Lovely to see out to sheep in the morning. Kitchen well equipped. Beds pretty comfy. We did know the house is on a road, but we didn’t realise quite how noisy it would be as it’s a 60mph road and the bedrooms are literally the other side of the wall to the road. Hot tub was amazing with lovely views and a nice seating area. Only downside to our stay was that we have a 9 month old so we are up at the crack of dawn and would’ve liked to have gone in the hot tub early before going out, but the owners came and checked it between 7 and 8am each day so we didn’t feel we could go and sit in it without risk of having the owners coming up to us in our swim suits!

Was a warm and comfortable cottage with several apparently original features. Good Lakeland views . Well equipped. Few local eateries and shops within a 5 mile radius.

We had a fantastic stay in Little Knott cottage. Everything we need were there which made our stay convenient. A brilliant location if you're visiting Coniston, Windermere and Ambleside. Shops and pubs only a few miles away from the cottage. Loved the view outside so relaxing, we had a nice time just sit there early morning having a brew. Our dog loved being at the garden watching the sheeps. We'll definitely would like to stay here again for our next holiday in Lake District.
