Guests say

Penny Bridge House in Ulverston receives high praise for its cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped facilities. Guests appreciate the luxurious touches, spacious garden, and the property's suitability for families and pets. The local pub proximity and scenic location enhance the experience. The house's thoughtful details, including a welcome pack, contribute to memorable stays.

Guests consistently note the property's exceptional cleanliness, with multiple reviews highlighting its spotless condition. One mention of needing to clean the BBQ before use slightly impacts the score.

The property's location is praised for its convenience to local attractions and the nearby pub. Its proximity to the Lake District's lakes and the scenic surroundings contribute to its high rating.

The comfort of Penny Bridge House is frequently commended, with guests mentioning comfy beds, luxurious bathrooms, and cosy living spaces. However, one comment about smaller beds in some rooms slightly lowers the score.

The house's facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen and games room, are well-received. The mention of missing spoons and a measuring jug, and the need to clean the BBQ, indicate minor maintenance points.

The thoughtfulness of the hosts is evident through the provision of welcome packs and amenities for both guests and dogs. While gifts are appreciated, they are a gracious gesture and not a guaranteed offering.

We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, lots of secured outdoor space for the dog to run round in as well as a fab games room too. The beds were very comfortable and everything was spotless. Amazing bathrooms and beautiful decor. Everything was explained in the handy guidebook and plenty of facilities a short distance away

Every detail was thought of and the generous welcome pack on arrival set the tone for the weekend. The house is huge, with plenty of space for big groups and the games room was a winner. Perfect for time away with family or a group of friends - we loved it and hope to be back in the near future
