Welcome to Birthwaite, a spacious two-bedroom modern holiday lodge situated in the Fellside area of Limefitt Park. The lodge enjoys a quiet location offering far reaching views and it ideal for couples or families sleeping up to 4 guests in two bedrooms. The main hallway leads into a spacious open plan lounge and dining area with pitched pine ceiling, lounge furniture featuring two- and three-seater leather sofa, sideboard, and coffee table, making this the ideal place to relax after a day of adventures with your favourite book or enjoy a family movie together. At the end of the day retreat into your choice of two bedrooms, the en-suite master bedroom features a double bed and built-in furniture and television, leading through into the en-suite where you will find a shower, sink, toilet, and heated towel rail. The second bedroom has two full size single beds, fitted wardrobes with dressing table with mirror and a TV/DVD player player. The house bathroom offers a bath with hand shower, toilet, sink and heated towel rail, the perfect place to take a long soak after a day on the fells.

The small Lakeland village of Troutbeck can be found between its more famous neighbours Windermere and Ambleside, close by the Kirkstone Pass. A mixture of houses, cottages and farms, the village is scattered along a narrow lane bordered by a drystone wall. Many of these buildings date back to the 17th Century with features such as mullioned windows and heavy cylindrical chimneys and the northern end boasts its own 17th century inn. Close by, the bustling towns of Windermere and Ambleside are popular with visitors, providing a range of amenities to suit all tastes. Lake Windermere offers boat trips, including the lakeside ferry to the Lakeside Aquarium and Grizedale Forest Park. The ‘Windermere Steamboat Museum’ displays a fascinating collection of boats whilst children will enjoy the ‘World of Beatrix Potter’ in Bowness, where technology brings her characters to life. Within easy reach of destinations such as Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains, Troutbeck is ideally situated for exploring all that the region has to offer.
