We enjoyed our stay however would probably only return if the lodge had some refurbishment. It clearly is an older lodge, and the decor reflects this. The kitchen was tired with things like cupboard coverings cracked, tap wobbly, odd number of crockery. The main bedroom was snug and could be better redesigned no need for huge cupboard and the bed was small double and uncomfortable. The ensuite was very tired and indeed of upgrade. Overall the cleaning could be better visible dust under coffee table and cobwebs around things easily cleaned. Hot tub was nice addition and nice decking area with table and chairs.

We stayed here for 7 nights, throughly enjoyed our time here. Yes the Lodge is looking tired however you can see from other reviews that owners are putting this right and being pro active. The lodge was very clean and I would happily stay here again.

Over all accomadation & site is nice the mattresses need changing.Shower over the bath does'nt work & needs changing.The decking area needs a upgrade & painting.
