We had a lovely welcome card with snacks upon arrival and clear access instructions with photos regarding the key box and electronic gate code. The cottage is lovely. Fully equipped kitchen including washer, dryer, dishwasher, espresso machine. Lounge has a lovely log burner. Ample parking for several cars. Location is superb, on a hill directly above the town centre. There were laminated information sheets with WiFi code, recommended restaurants and activities. My only (minor!) suggestion would be to include a shower shelf / hanging basket for shampoo etc in the bathrooms. Everything else has clearly been thought through to every last detail, beautifully cared for property.

The house is beautiful and kept spotlessly clean. All the amenities you could wish for are available and this is backed up by a very friendly and helpful property manager, Otto, for whom nothing is too much trouble. Small things also make a big difference, such as comfortable beds and pillows. Most likely the best UK rental property we have had with Sykes so far. Thanks to Otto and the owners for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The House is beautifully set out and everything has been thought through, we even had ice cubes ready for us, which was super appreciated after a long drive!! The location is perfect, just a short walk into Bowness. We would definitely stay again without hesitation.
