Went to a fair few places ulverston, Windermere, bouness, Hawkshead, Grasmere, Keswick plus a brilliant drive on a mountain pass near scafell pike. It was a fantastic week and will definitely be back again.

The communication form the owner in advance was great, and the house had everything you'd need. The kitchen in particular was big, and very well equipped for a holiday cottage. The only (small) downside was that the curtains in the bedrooms were very thin which, given that we stayed in June, made for early wake ups for everyone

It was in a good location. It was near shops restaurants and takeaways, which was ideal as we had a toddler with us, so ate in at night. The owner also provided games and books and was flexible with the time of arrival and departure, which was very much appreciated.
