Guests say

Rose House in Windermere receives high praise for its prime location, exceptional comfort, and well-thought-out amenities. Guests appreciate the tasteful decoration, modern facilities, and the added convenience of private parking. The property is dog-friendly and suitable for families, with a special mention of the comfortable beds and enjoyable outdoor patio. While there are minor maintenance issues and a single report of cleanliness concerns, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Most reviews do not mention any issues with cleanliness, indicating satisfaction. However, one review cites concerns with crumbs, dog hair, and unclean kitchenware, suggesting room for improvement. This isolated feedback slightly impacts the overall high cleanliness standard.

The location is consistently lauded for being perfect, with easy access to both Windermere and Bowness. The proximity to local amenities, including a pub and supermarket, is highly appreciated by guests.

Guests frequently mention the comfortable beds and the cosy, homely feel of the property. The high standard of decoration contributes to the overall comfort, with only minor suggestions for additional cosiness in the living areas.

The property is praised for its exceptional facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen and enjoyable outdoor space. Some minor maintenance issues, such as a broken bin lid and toaster, are noted, but these do not significantly detract from the overall experience.

While guests express gratitude for the amenities and the welcoming atmosphere, there is insufficient information regarding specific thoughtful gestures or gifts to accurately assess this category. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

If you cant get the induction hob started we discovered that at least one of the pans wasnt conduction compatible, so beware. Fabulous rain effect showers, again though beware if you use the bath and its on the shower setting it will run down back of bath to the floor. Blind in the living room right window not fully opening and curtains in here and dining room would add cosiness. Wood burner worked great and starter wood pack and washing pods etc great addition.
