Situated in the Lake District National Park and near Lake Windermere, this apartment is a perfect base for nature-loving couples wanting to discover the beauties of the Lake District or cuddle up onto the sofa with your special someone to watch your favourite shows and movies. When you're feeling peckish, head to the sleek kitchen and whip up a delicious meal for the pair of you to enjoy in an intimate conversation around the dining table. When it's sunny, open up the French doors to the shared enclosed patio garden with garden furniture and enjoy your meals out in the warmth. After a long day out, unwind under the rainfall shower and sink into a king-size bed to catch your rest. Venture out to visit the beautiful, lakeside town of Bowness where you'll find Lake View Garden Bar for some alfresco dining, lake views, British cuisine and live music. A variety of boat trips and boat hire are available from Windermere Lake Cruises in Bowness to Brockhole, Ambleside and Lakeside (at the southern end of the lake where the Lakeside Aquarium and the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway are situated). The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction and the Old Laundry Theatre are 1.5 miles away. Orrest Head, where Alfred Wainwright was inspired to write his series of iconic guidebooks, is a 30-minute walk to enjoy the spectacular panorama of far-reaching views over the lake and surrounding fells. Brockhole, which offers high wire tree top experiences, is three miles away, and the historic villages of Grasmere, Ambleside and Troutbeck are a short drive away. The only recommendation would make is a boot tray by inside of the door. We're avid walkers so I think it would be a handy addition. Lovely Christmas decorations

The owners above was no problem at all. They were very helpful and we needed a bit of help. These things are stay was fantastic. We look forward to staying there in the future.

Very comfortable warm and cosy especially if going in the winter. Itâs in a fantastic location ⦠a short walk to the hustle and bustle of Bowness and just under a mile to Windermere. Vicki was very helpful and friendly. Nothing was a problem. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.
