Guests say

Church View At Troutbeck is a well-received cottage in Windermere, praised for its stunning views, tasteful decoration, and comfortable furnishings. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, the warmth of the property, and the proximity to local pubs and walking paths. Some guests encountered issues with hot water and heating, but these were generally resolved and did not detract from the overall positive experience. The property's cleanliness and the thoughtfulness of neighbours contributing homemade jam were noted highlights.

The property is generally described as very clean, with one report of accumulated dust and a poorly functioning vacuum cleaner. However, the overall impression is of a well-maintained cottage.

The location is highly praised for its stunning views, quiet setting, and proximity to local amenities like the Queen's Head pub. It is also appreciated for the walking paths accessible from the door.

The property is considered comfortable, with special mentions of the beds and the warmth of the house. However, some guests reported issues with heating control and hot water supply, slightly affecting the comfort level.

Facilities like the kitchen and Apple TV are appreciated, but there are several mentions of issues with hot water, heating, and Wi-Fi. The need for clearer instructions for smart devices and an accessible heating system is noted.

While guests mention receiving homemade jam from a neighbour, this is not a guaranteed amenity provided by the property owner, and there are no other references to thoughtful touches or gifts directly from the property.

Yes, we only had a problem once in 4 days but it needs to amended on the Web site. It should read no private parking but parking is available on the public road area.
