This beautiful retreat is ideally situated in the small village of Horningtoft in the heart of rural Norfolk. Resting on the edge of a working farm this is a perfect base to roam the English countryside and explore the beauty of north Norfolk. Within a short drive are plenty of fantastic attractions including Holkham Hall Sandringham House Houghton Hall and Castle Acre Priory and there s a choice of tranquil nature reserves to explore. Nearby towns and villages worth discovering include Hunstanton Brancaster Massingham Burnham Overy Staithe and the historic market town of Fakenham. A little further afield you can enjoy the North Norfolk Steam Railway the Norfolk Broads Go Ape and the Dad s Army museum.
On entering this beautiful single-level barn conversion you will find yourself in the stunning open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which features plenty of beautiful original features including exposed beams a cathedral ceiling and a traditional wood burner set in a brick fireplace and which benefits from underfloor heating. There is also an additional WC. Stepping outside you will find a charming enclosed courtyard with a small dog kennel you do not have to use the kennel as one dog is welcome inside. There are four parking spaces: two on the driveway and two off-road spaces in front of the cottage. There is also a covered porch ideal for storing bikes. Please note the property is connected to another building but this is used very rarely by the owner. While you are staying here you will have exclusive use of the courtyard and the parking. Need to know: 1 super king size double bed with TV/DVD in the lounge.
