The village centre is just a short walk away with village pub serving good food, small supermarket, Chinese takeaway and hairdresser. A stroll leads you down to the sandy beach which offers miles of peaceful walks and bird watching opportunities. The lively traditional seaside resort of Great Yarmouth is 8 miles away and offers an excellent sandy beach with donkey rides, fun fair, amusements, Sea Life centre, mini golf, theatre, museums, shops and restaurants.
Potter Heigham, gateway to the Norfolk Broads, is 6 miles away and Wroxham, known as the capital of the Norfolk Broads, is 15 miles away and offers daily boat hire and river trips, fishing and sailing. Alternatively spend a day in the fine city of Norwich with its two shopping malls, market square, cathedral, theatre, castle museums, cafés and restaurants. Horsey Mill, a National Trust site, is also nearby and is well worth a visit. A magnificent bungalow for two surrounded by a beautiful garden , very quiet and peaceful but if you wanted the razzmatazz of a beach resort it was easily accessible . Our hosts Linda and Andy were very friendly making sure everything was ok ,for us We would have no hesitation to recommend this bungalow to anyone .its a real gem of a property ,
