Turnstone House is a charming, Victorian 3-bedroom, end-terrace property in the popular seaside town of Gorleston-on-Sea on the Norfolk coast. The perfect location for a family seaside holiday, relaxing break or exploring the amazing Norfolk and Suffolk coastlines. It is perfect for families, with a cosy living room, a separate dining room, a kitchen and a superb sun room for those cooler days. Upstairs is an east-facing twin bedroom along with a bunk room leading to the master bedroom with king-size bed. Turnstone House is only a short walk to Gorleston’s award-winning beach, a stunning stretch of sand below a grand promenade and gardens making it ideal for families and dog walkers. Although, the first part of the beach is closed to dogs from May to September, however, past the ravine there is around 1.5 kilometres of beach available for all. It makes a great destination for a traditional bucket-and-spade outing and is not only popular with young families but surfers, windsurfers, body-boarders and kite-flyers too. On the upper prom and gardens there are six new tennis courts, two basket ball/five a side football pitches, a putting green, outdoor gym and children’s playground. An information pack is in the property which should help you further enjoy your holiday.
Gorleston-on-Sea is just south of Great Yarmouth and offers beach side cafés, pubs, restaurants, the Edwardian Pavilion theatre and a bustling high street. Turnstone House is a fantastic base from which to explore all that Norfolk has to offer. Hire a boat or take a guided boat trip on the beautiful Norfolk Broads or visit Horsey Beach where, at certain times of the year, you can see seals and their pups. A short drive away is the medieval city of Norwich with its cathedral, castle, museums, restaurants and fine shopping. Beach 100 yards. Shop, pub and restaurant 100 yards.

Turnstone House is beautiful, well-equipped, and spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking a few meals. The location is great - close to cafes and restaurants, and the beach. Great Yarmouth is a few minutes drive away, and so are some of the bigger supermarkets.The bed in the main bedroom squeaks, as mentioned by previous guests, and seemed to get worse as the week went on - it was comfy though. The living room had a strong dog odour - but thankfully not in the rest of the house.We'd recommend Turnstone House, and we'd definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay and would love to stay again if in the area. The property had everything we needed , good location , close to the beach and shops. If we had one thing to complain about would be the bed in the double room , every move you made was very noisy and the other half would be disturbed so sleep wasn't the best , so maybe that could be changed . ..........one other point i would like to make (and this isn't a criticism on just on this property but on all other property's we have stayed ) i think the owners of the property's seem too forget the garden and outdoor seating areas , they are a little neglected . The seeting areeas could do with a clean and made more comfortable. I understand a holiday home is about being out and about but on a evening would be nice to actually sit on clean comfy chairs
