We had a lovely time in the lodge before going back to school starts, was just what was needed to refresh our brains. we had 2 very small issues which were dealt with in a timely manner and as professionally as possible, we didnt want to leave and are already looking at re-booking in future, the rooms are spacious and all have ensuites connected which was a bonus, the hot tub on the lower decking is secluded to a point so privacy was nice.watching the ducks at dawn and dusk going between the ponds was a perfect start and end to the day, perfect for friends as has and up and down decking as well as 2 sitting rooms so you dont always have to be together.

This was our 3rd stay here but havent been for a few years. It was outstanding when we first stayed everything was excellent . Sadly this time it wasnt. The double bed needs a new matress as so awful. There was no hand soap in the bathrooms , there was no welcome tray like there used to be and for what you pay a pint of milk in the fridge would be good . It wasnt overly clean . The personal touches werent there which is a real shame . No visitors book. The hot tub wasnt ready. There were chiped craked glasses in cupboard and plates . Sadly it wasnt like it had previously been which was really disapointing We wont book again
