About this property

This comfortable 1960's mid-terrace is perfectly positioned to enjoy the best of North Norfolk. Moments from Brancaster Staithe - ideal for paddle boarding, kayaking and sailing - and the North Norfolk Coastal Path, it is also within easy walking distance of two great pubs - The Jolly Sailors and The White Horse.

12 The Close has been a much-loved family home for many years and during 2021 was updated with a brand new look by the younger generation, using an interesting, colourful and tasteful retro style that will appeal to all ages. The ground floor flows from the spacious and comfortable sitting room, with a living flame fire to light to add warmth and ambience, through to the dining room, which in turn leads into the small but perfectly formed and well-equipped kitchen. From the kitchen a back door opens to a sunny private patio garden, where outdoor dining is an additional option and the perfect space to fire up the barbecue and chill out after a busy day. Upstairs are three bedrooms (a king-size and two singles) along with a family bathroom.

12 The Close offers a couple, a small family or a group of friends, the opportunity to spend quality time away together in a comfortable cottage in a great location, any time of the year. If you enjoy walking, exploring picture-perfect seaside villages or packing a picnic full of fabulous locally produced fayre and walking to the beach for the day, where you can swim in the sea and let the dogs run free, then this bolthole is just the place for you.

We picked a good week weather wise, with plenty of good walks, bird watching and great pubs. Really enjoyed the house, which was very comfortable and well-equipped.

A lovely house in an excellent but quiet location just off the main coastal road. It was very well equipped and all rooms tastefully decorated and comfortable. The welcoming local pub was only a 5 mins walk and coastal paths equally close. We would certainly consider booking again.

Fantastic holiday property, brilliantly located to explore all that North Norfolk has to offer. Great amenities and little extras (games, DVDs) to help make it feel like a home away from home. The only things I would make others aware of is that there is an undercounter fridge with small freezer, not a full sized fridge-freezer, and that there are glass panes above the bedroom doors (very much a period feature of the property) that didn't bother us at all (and can be easily blacked-out with a damp cloth and foil).
