Under the ownership of the same family for many generations, Norfolk House has had several reincarnations - once upon a time a popular greengrocers, and latterly a renowned hardware-come-lifestyle store which turned into a much loved destination for the folk of Norfolk..
Using their experience and skills at designing interiors, the family have now transformed this home into a superbly comfortable and elegant holiday hideaway, that exudes a touch of grown up sophistication. A spacious house, this lovely property is certainly a relaxing place to be and makes a characterful and romantic retreat for two at any time of the year. What a great time we have had in this lovely home. We have walked many miles, over nine miles on our last day. We only had one wet day and that was when Storm Amy visited but having plenty of space here meant it was just like a rainy day at home. We particularly like the local bus service which we have used extensively in both directions. Thank you for a lovely stay in Heacham.

Norfolk House was a perfect place to celebrate birthdays and a successful start to High School! It provided everything we needed to relax, explore and reflect. One of the cleanest houses we have stayed in for a while, very comfortable and well equipped. Someone has an eye for interior decor and styling and we are taking a few ideas away with us. Thank you for our welcome gift, a good supply of tea towels and the loan of a truly lovely place to stay. We would love to return to Norfolk House.
