Located in the ever-popular village of Thornham with its beach, harbour and coastal walks and numerous gastro-pubs and eateries and shops, this is the perfect place to enjoy a longer holiday or indulgent short break away with friends and family.

This sophisticated detached old farmhouse boasts some of the most luxurious bedrooms along the coast. Well-located on the edge of the beautiful coastal village of Thornham, with its gastro pubs, farm shop, fishmongers, numerous shops and foodie retreats, it is a great place for a short break or longer stay. With a sunken hot tub to enjoy (available all year) after a busy day exploring, and affording stunning views across the fields and marsh to the sea from the upstairs bedroom and garden, this coastal retreat is set within walking distance of everything you could possibly want including the coast, harbour and beach. Given that Thornham has three pub/restaurants you won’t be short of places to eat during your stay. However, you may also want to consider a private chef, details will be sent to you prior to your stay, which makes perfect sense if you have younger children and prefer to eat later while the children are tucked up in bed.

With beautiful interiors and underfloor heating downstairs, you are sure of a warm welcome as you step inside Old Farm. You will adore the relaxed living spaces, including a very large open-plan kitchen and dining area with sofa and chairs which makes it easy to come together, whilst the stunning bedrooms upstairs offer a true sanctuary away from the world when you need to retire to bed.

The living spaces (and there are many) start with the oh-so-grown up sitting room where you can relax in front of the wood burning stove and enjoy good conversation and a quieter environment. Through the double doors, which can be opened up to create a much larger sitting area, there is a snug with wood burning stove and large Smart television with Sky and Netflix to keep everyone happy. Here you'll find a large plump corner sofa making it perfect for late night chats after supper. Also on the ground floor, in addition to the seating area in the kitchen, is a quiet office area, perfect if you need to work. With five divine and rather sublime bedrooms upstairs (two super-kings, two twins and one children's bunk room with single bed) and three with sumptuous en-suites (two with baths in the bedrooms), it might be difficult to decide which one to choose as three of them boast uninterrupted sea views too. Upstairs you'll also find a very practical laundry cupboard housing a washing machine and tumble dryer. In the annexe to the rear of the property across the parking area, there are two further beautiful bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, located upstairs above the garaging. Both feature super-king size beds with storage and hanging space, velux windows and windows to the front with sea views and again are decorated to the same high specification as the bedrooms in the main farmhouse.

Outside you’ll love relaxing in the sunny lawned garden, which is enclosed and gated to the coast road. On warm summer days and evenings, enjoy the bubbling hot tub or relaxing in the garden catching the sun’s rays. From the raised garden you are also afforded some spectacular coastal views. On a practical note, there is plenty of off-road parking and there are two Tesla electric charging points too.

Old Farm is also available as a sleeps 11 option, with the annexe closed off.

Additional Information:

Two well-behaved dogs welcome (small additional charge) - gate to the road does not have chicken wire so very small dogs should be supervised.

Hot Tub available to book at an additional fee of £500.

Travel cot and highchair available on request.

Pillows and duvets are soft-as-down synthetic fibre.
