Situated on the Hoveton Hall Estate in Ashmanhaugh, Blacksmith's Farmhouse is a imposing Grade II listed farmhouse that offers guests a stately venue from which to explore nearby Norwich and The Broads National Park. Surrounded by a myriad of habitats, guests are able to enjoy the gardens around the cottage, its lake and the nearby tennis court.
The farmhouse boasts six bedrooms, all elegantly furnished with quality white linens and offering great views across the estate through large Georgian sash windows. To cater to the needs of large groups, the property is served by three large bathrooms spread over the three floors, ensuring convenience and comfort for all guests. Additionally, there is a games room situated at the top of the house, featuring a full-sized pool table, darts board, and seating, providing endless entertainment for all the group members.
The estate surrounding the Blacksmith's Farmhouse offers a picturesque and diverse landscape, with a mixture of habitats including a tranquil lake, lush gardens, expansive pasture, old woodlands, and vibrant wildflower meadows. Hoveton Hall Gardens are open seasonally, from Good Friday to the end of September (Sunday to Fridays).
The outdoor grass tennis court is available to use between 1st May and the 30th of September. The rest of the year it is unavailable due to grass maintenance.

Thank you so much for such an enjoyable stay in such a fabulous house and wonderful setting. Your Welcome Pack was very kind, thank you, and great to see local Norfolk produce at its best! The house was just as we hoped it would be as we were celebrating our son-in-law's successful major operation during the summer and his remarkable recovery. The house was also a perfect setting for our own Traitors game at the weekend, great fun! Thanks again for your thoughtfulness and kindness in making our stay so enjoyable. We have some lovely memories from the last week.

Thank you for an amazing stay. The whole family said 'wow' as we drove up the drive. The house is wonderful. The Christmas decorations are 10/10, thank you so much for decorating the house. We loved the Christmas trees and the lights up the stairs as well as all the other decorations. The games room was also a highlight and many games of pool and darts were played. Thank you for the Welcome Gift, the apple juice was delicious. Thank you for helping make this a great Christmas.

Thank you for such a wonderful home and stay. We fell in love with Blacksmithâs Farmhouse as soon as we turned up the drive. The house is stunning, and the countryside is spectacular. We hired this house to celebrate our wedding at Norwich Castle, and it was perfect. We all have so many wonderful memories now in this home and want to thank you all so much for making this possible. P.s Extra thank you for allowing dogs. We couldnât have had such a wonderful wedding without our border terriers!
