Loved the location of the Lodge. Great to have indoor swimming and onsite restaurant but the gardens were lovely and well kept. Enjoyed seeing mink jack deer and pheasants wandering around. Beds very comfortable.

We had a lovely stay at Bittern Lodge. The lodge is comfortable, well equipped and set in convenient place to stay, ideal for a seaside escape. The lodge was a good size for the four of us, with enough space for everyone. The separate bedrooms worked well, especially the bedroom on the mezzanine, giving both adults and kids their own space. Having use of the on-site facilities is a real bonus, we made great use of the pool and the restaurant serve delicious homemade food. The town is only a 20 minute walk away either along the road or coastline, and the lighthouse is short walk away offering great views. Overall we had a great time and it’s the ideal choice for a relaxing family break.
