The Bath House in Cromer is praised for its stunning sea views and prime location, ideal for beach access and local amenities. Guests appreciate the well-appointed property, spacious rooms, and the thoughtful welcome pack. While the unique charm of this converted Victorian bathhouse is noted, some guests mention the need for a deep clean and maintenance to address wear and tear.
Guests have noted that while the property is generally comfortable, there is a need for a deeper clean in certain areas, with some mentioning mould and a musty smell in the bathroom. The end-of-season effect is also mentioned, suggesting that cleanliness could be improved.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the seafront, beach, and local shops and restaurants. The views are consistently described as amazing, making it a standout feature of the property.
The property is considered comfortable with spacious rooms and quality furniture. However, some guests have issues with the light in the bedrooms and the quality of the mattress, suggesting room for improvement in comfort.
The property is well-equipped with a kitchen, large bath, and sauna. However, guests have reported wear and tear, such as scratched walls and damaged kitchen units, indicating a need for better maintenance.
Guests have mentioned a welcome pack, which is a nice touch, though it should be noted that such gestures are not guaranteed and may vary with each stay.

Situated in the best location along the coastline The Bath House is positioned right on the promenade with stunning view of the sea and the iconic pier. Many other properties offer sea views, while wonderful, they can lack something when the sun sets, but from the Bath House you can see the pier lit against the night sky, meaning that there is always something stunning to look at during your stay. Offering permit parking with ample allocated spaces, right on the prom you really are enjoying a privileged position when you book this former inn. Lovingly converted to provide five star, luxury accommodation throughout, this is certainly not somewhere to just rest your head.
It is a special, one of kind destination, somewhere to celebrate, relax and create new memories, to raise a glass or two and to take in those views. Boasting two large bedrooms which are both en-suite, this property would be perfect for two discerning couples or small families. The master bedroom features sea views to die for and an en-suite with a Japanese soaking bath and a generous shower cubicle. There is also a chaise lounge by the window and the owner has also thoughtfully provided a pair of binoculars so you can watch the passing ships or check out the seagulls in flight. There is also a TV in this room but it really will be hard to tear yourself away from looking at what lies outside. The second bedroom is at the rear of the property and has four beds, making this perfect as a family room if needed. While there are no sea views from this room the owner has more than made up for this by providing an en-suite wet room, a separate toilet and, the piece de la resistance, an en-suite sauna. Downstairs the well equipped kitchen/dining room has a porthole that faces through the living room and on to the glass frontage, meaning you can even see the sea while dining. And the living room itself has lovely views across the prom and down to the sea. There really is nothing like Bath House. It is simply stunning and it is hard to sum up in words what it is like to be in this beautiful property.
You will definitely find it very had to tear yourself away for even a day but if you do, you will find a wealth of great places to eat, drink and shop right on you doorstep and lots to see and do in the local area including Pensthope Nature Reserve, Sheringham Park and rspb Cley Marshes, the Blickling, Holkham, Houghton and Sandringham Estates, the Thursford Collection with its Christmas Spectacular and the Mucklebugh Collection, Bure Valley and North Norfolk Railways, Amazonia Zoo and Bewilderwood and so much more. And you can be in the heart of the Norfolk Broads in half an hour. You can even take the train there and travel on to the medieval city of Norwich too.

We had a lovely few days at The Bath House, looking out at the sea everyday was so relaxing, such a beautiful view. It's so close to everything so the car was parked up and left for the entire break which is another masive plus. We would definitely recommend this property for a stay in Cromer. The host was very easy to contact and very friendly too. Thanks for a great break away!

We stayed in The Bath House end of September. There are a lot of steps. Not suitable for anyone with young children or people with mobility problems. House was initially very cold, heating is pre set, it took a few texts to host to get house warm enough. Lovely views from lounge, but it felt like we were sitting in the porch. I would guess it would be amazing in the summer, with the patio doors open and sea breeze drifting in. However, in the end of September, especially with the dark nights, it felt a bit cold and exposed. Amazing views from main bedroom. Bathroom smelled very musty. Took a ridiculously long time to get any hot water, we had to run the tap at full for ages. Second bedroom was a disappointment. Very dark, no wardrobe and shower area and toilet were up more steps and felt exposed. Location of accommodation was excellent though. Perfect for walking to the local shops and restaurants.
