The cottage is very well equipped. The beds are very firm….uncomfortable for old bones.Seating in the lounge is low…..in the dining room the solid chairs are very heavy. In the main bathroom the mixer tap on the sink is not fitted so we had to use the bath.Kitchen is excellent but the addition of a washing up bowl in the butler sink would be helpful.Parking was an issue….the space opposite was only just enough for two cars but when there are rwo cars to each property ( next door also had two) it makes life awkward because someone has to park in the car park about 100 yds down the lane at £11 per stay.French doors in the dining room open onto a tiny patch of concrete.

The accommodation was of a very decent size, two large reception rooms; lounge and dining room. Perfect if someone wants to watch T.V and the other person wants to be quiet in the dining room - as they both have gas fires. The lounge furniture is very comfortable. The gas fire in the lounge was really difficult to turn on. The kitchen is rather on the small size, but has everything you could need. The bedrooms are both a decent size and both en-suite. I liked the choice of a room with a bath or shower. The heating was upstairs is storage radiators. The owner was kind to buy 2 convector heaters when I reported my storage radiator was not working on the 2nd night. I liked the curtains in my room for blocking out the light, they were of a good standard for a good sleep! The outside area does not catch the sun, but it is possible to sit out the front and enjoy the scenery. The place was very clean and overall of a good standard.

We had a lovely week staying in this newly listed victorian terraced house. Just a few tweeks and it would great. Love the wooden floor boards and rugs.Easy access by key safe.Tea/coffee/Uht milk sachets in small welcome pack. Tea towels. A toilet roll in each toilet. Towels. No extras like hand wash or anything else apart from salt & pepper in the kitchen. You need to take all of those everday bits and pieces.Furniture and contents were all of lovely standard and very comfy including the beds. Bed linen was spotlessly clean.Wouldn't stay during colder months due inadequate heating upstairs just a small storage heater in each bedroom and NO heat in the bathrooms !!Cons: Parking was an issue. The advert stated parking was available across from the house for one car (on the grass verge) but the house next door also a holiday home has the same advert, causing confusion as to who should park there (both parties had mobility issues). They parked first so we parked on the next street. Please sort your advertising out !Also the beds really needed thicker duvets or blankets or at least the choice to have extra in the cupboard. It was chilly in the house at night. We were cold during the night.
