The Cart Shed is a lovely, well equipped holiday cottage, with very large gardens front and back and parking for 2 cars. We stayed in Feb so didn’t get chance to use the gardens much but would be lovely for any kids to play in when weathers nice as they are fully enclosed. There are some working units behind the cottage that you can see from the cottage but they in no way spoiled our stay there and the thoughtful screening of the property boundary prevents any privacy issues. They weren’t noisy either. Upsides: Spacious and nicely furnished throughout, clean and homely with lovely shower room (huge shower) and bathroom. Lovely clean quality towels & bedding and the beds/pillows are very comfy. I especially loved the huge master bedroom and it could only have been improved if it had a TV! Lovely welcome pack in the kitchen and the supply of few essentials such as dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid, washing machine liquid, toilet rolls, body wash in showers etc enhance the property’s offering. You can nip across garden and through the gate to a little self-service deli shop which is stocked with nice local produce and a few essential items. Responsive, helpful owners close by. Ideal base for visiting towns and villages. We especially loved Sandringham Estate!Downsides: Inadequate TV, too small for size of living room and the sound is tinny. Plumbing issues, kitchen sink blocked as well as bathroom toilet, both out of action for 24 hrs but owner rectified and happy to help. Could do with a long mirror in bedroom/s and 4 slice toaster would be better given it’s a family property. Need to remove wood stove from description as there hasn’t been one for long time according to guest book so very misleading if you particularly looked forward to one. Would we stay again? If the TV was better, most definitely yes!!
