Around the corner is a homely kitchen with an ‘L’-shaped fitted unit with plenty of surface space for preparing a banquet for your guests, which can be enjoyed at the wooden dining table with chairs. Also on the ground floor is a convenient utility room, a family shower room plus a double bedroom with a TV. Continue up the wooden staircase to find a family bathroom and two bedrooms – a king-size with an en-suite shower room and a twin room. Outside is a lawned garden with a patio, furniture and a BBQ.

While staying in the quaint village of Thursford, the steam museum will be less than 0.5 miles away – where you can find the world’s largest collection of steam engines. There is also a couple of restaurants plus an equestrian centre within 1 mile. Pack a picnic and head into the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to discover the prestigious Holkham Estate (10.5 miles) which has a lake, woodlands and a country house. Go for a swim and stroll along the golden sand at Holkham Beach (12 miles) or hike along the scenic trails of Scolt Head Island Nature Reserve (14.5 miles).
