About this property

Fern View is a static caravan set in the coastal village of Weybourne, close to Sheringham on the North Norfolk coast. Well suited to couples, friends or families, it provides a comfortable base for exploring this attractive stretch of shoreline, with open countryside and the sea both within easy reach. The interior centres around an open-plan living space designed for easy-going breaks. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, gas hob and fridge/freezer, making it straightforward to prepare anything from a quick breakfast to a relaxed evening meal. A dining table offers space to sit together and enjoy unhurried mealtimes, while the sitting area provides comfortable seating for putting your feet up after a day out.

When it’s time to turn in, there are two bedrooms to choose from: a king-size and a twin. These are served by a shower room fitted with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Outside, an enclosed lawn and decked terrace create a pleasant area for dining in the open air or simply enjoying the coastal breeze. WiFi and LPG central heating are included, and off-road parking adds to the convenience of your stay. Weybourne itself has a friendly village pub and easy access to the shingle beach, as well as connections to the North Norfolk Railway, often known as the Poppy Line, which runs between Sheringham and Holt.

Sheringham offers a traditional seaside atmosphere with its beach, independent shops and cafés, while Cromer is well known for its pier, theatre and famous crab. Inland, the Georgian town of Holt provides galleries, boutiques and places to eat. The Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty surrounds the area, with walking routes along the coastal path and through nearby Sheringham Park. Fern View makes a well-placed base for discovering seaside towns, countryside walks and the character of North Norfolk.

Sheringham was originally a small fishing village on the North Norfolk coast, but with the arrival of the railways in 1887 it prospered and grew into a popular holiday town. Sheringham has been awarded ten consecutive European Blue Flags for cleanliness for its beach, along with awards from Britain in Bloom, Anglia in Bloom, and Best Coastal Resort. Enjoy walking along the East or West promenades, offering sea views with blue skies and red sunsets, a beach with a silver-pebbled shoreline leading to golden sands with rock pools and streams next to ochre cliffs, local fishing boats and a rlni lifeboat station with museum. This attractive traditional seaside town also has the 'Little Theatre', open all year round, seaside gardens with seating, a model boating lake, independent shops, tea rooms, steam railway, golfing, amusement arcades, and fish & chip shops selling locally-caught fish.
