Guests say

Seasong is a quaint cottage praised for its peaceful location, cosy atmosphere, and thoughtful welcome gifts. Guests appreciate the proximity to local amenities and the coast, as well as the property's charming decor and garden. While some guests mention minor maintenance issues and suggest improvements for comfort, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking forward to returning.

Most guests found Seasong to be comfortable and well-kept, though there were isolated comments about a grill pan not being cleaned and a suggestion for a shower clean. These seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.

The location is highly praised for its beauty, quietness, and proximity to local attractions, pubs, and the coast. However, some guests noted issues with parking and bird droppings on cars.

Guests generally found the cottage comfortable, with a cosy bedroom and relaxing garden. Some guests, however, mentioned low sofas and beds, and one found the mattress very hard.

The cottage is appreciated for its well-equipped nature and quirky decor. However, guests have reported maintenance issues such as a leaky sink, flickering light, and a heavy kettle. The lack of a microwave and freezer compartment was also noted.

Guests were delighted with welcome packs, which included items like bread, milk, and wine. It's important to note that while these gifts are warmly received, they are not guaranteed for every stay.

As an asthmatic l was disappointed with only feather pillows and a feather duvet.Had l known in advance, l could have brought a suitable pillow of my own.I would not recommend the place for people with weak arthritic hands. The door catches are awkward, the taps stiff and the kettle very heavy. All the mood lighting is lovely but sadly, not very practical. lf you come back after dark, the dim light by the entry door is inadequate. You need to use a torch to negotiate the steps and get along to the main light switch bank.lt would be useful to know what items of rubbish are recycled, and the actual location of the bins to be used. l brought my recycling home with me as it was an easier option.l went to use the grill pan and found that it had not been cleaned. Fortunately l had some foil to protect my food.Seasong is in a lovely location, it's a shame that the impractical set up lets it down. Finally, a note for whoever does maintenance. The bathroom sink leaks and the light to the left of it flickers a lot and doesn't always come on. It would helpful if you let people know about the feather bedding and the awkward door catches. l am not in the habit of complaining, but if l struggled all week, l am sure other people with limited hand mobility would too.
