This spacious, stylish coastal lodge is set in a peaceful corner of Wells-next-the-Sea, with wide views across Holkham National Nature Reserve and direct access to the Norfolk Coast Path — ideal for families and friends seeking beach days, wildlife-rich walks and time together. Step out for sandy adventures on Wells Beach (200 metres) and pine wood trails, or wander into the harbour town (1.5 miles) for independent shops, delis, bakeries and traditional fish and chips along the quay. Holkham Hall (3.5 miles) and its vast parkland offer grand architecture, gardens and seasonal events, while the surrounding reserve is known for migrating birds and big skies. An on-site shop stocks a variety of local produce and practical essentials for your holiday, and if you don’t feel like walking into town, the park’s electric bus or vintage Leyland Tiger can take you.

The lodge is on one level inside; access is via three wooden steps up onto the decking. Inside, the light-filled open-plan living space is designed for relaxing and gathering. A generous lounge frames the views through panoramic glazing and sliding doors, with a three-seater sofa, two armchairs, an ottoman and a coal-effect electric fire set beside an entertainment unit with a TV. The dining area seats everyone comfortably for long suppers and board games, while the adjacent kitchen brings sociable cooking to the fore with a U-shaped layout, plenty of workspace and a breakfast bar with stools beneath a roof window that draws in extra daylight. At bedtime, the main bedroom features a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room with WC. Two further bedrooms each offer twin beds and storage. The family bathroom includes a shower over the bath and a WC, ideal for younger guests or a relaxing soak after the beach.

Outside, a large wraparound deck runs from the living area, furnished with rattan-style seating for lazy mornings and a dining set beside a gas BBQ for easy al fresco meals. Guests also have shared access to an on-site shop, a laundrette, a children’s playground, a woodland play area, and allotments where fresh produce is grown and can be purchased. Parking for two cars is provided directly outside.
