This spacious single-storey coastal lodge in Wells-next-the-Sea is tucked away in a peaceful corner of Pinewoods holiday park, with direct access to the Norfolk Coast Path and only 200 metres from Wells Beach. Adjacent to Holkham National Nature Reserve, it is the ideal setting for families and friends seeking sandy days, wildlife walks and fresh sea air. Stock up at the on-site shop, then head to the harbour town, 1.5 miles away, for independent stores, bakeries and fish and chips along the quay. For grand parkland and architecture, Holkham Hall is 3.5 miles away. The holiday park’s electric bus and vintage Leyland Tiger provide a simple link to town.

Climb three wooden steps into a bright, open-plan living area framed by panoramic windows. Two sofas and an armchair gather around a coal-effect electric fire and TV, creating a welcoming space to unwind after a day on the beach. A generous dining area with padded corner seating sets the scene for long, sociable meals. The U-shaped kitchen features a handy breakfast bar for casual bites, while a Velux ceiling window pulls in extra daylight for a fresh, airy feel. By the entrance, a practical utility room offers space to hang coats and leave sandy boots, with dedicated areas for laundry and recycling. Three bedrooms offer flexible sleeping: a double with en-suite facilities for added privacy, a twin, and a triple cross-over bunk room that is a hit with children and comfortable for adults too. A family shower room completes the layout.

Outside, a wrap-around deck makes the most of the big-sky views, furnished with rattan-style seating and a gas BBQ for relaxed al fresco dining. The decking is secured with a gate, so you are free to let your dog off the lead. Guests can also enjoy shared on-site facilities, including a shop, a launderette, a children’s playground, a woodland play area and allotments where seasonal produce is grown and can be purchased. Parking for two cars is available directly outside the lodge.
