Beach Escape is a beautifully decorated and exceptionally well-equipped cottage, just steps from a quiet, dog-friendly beach. Guests consistently praise its comfort, spaciousness, and sea views, making it ideal for families and dog owners alike. The open-plan living area, modern amenities, and thoughtful touches create a welcoming atmosphere. While the access road is frequently mentioned as rough and bumpy, it does not detract from the overall enjoyment of the property. Most guests found the property very clean, with several describing it as immaculate or pristine. A few minor issues were noted, such as cobwebs and dust under beds, but these were exceptions rather than the norm.

This wonderful seaside house is located in a private park with its own path access leading directly to a wide, sandy beach. Being able to access the sandy beach allows for easy access to the shoreline, where you can enjoy miles of walking along the coast, relax on the beach, or even indulge in water activities such as swimming or sunbathing.

Traditional seaside resorts of Cromer, 13 miles, and Sheringham, 17 miles, provide a great day out. Be sure to bring your sea fishing rod and catch your supper from the beach. Wroxham, the capital of the Broads, is within easy reach for daily boat hire, river trips, shops and eateries. For avid gardeners, a visit to the Old Vicarage Gardens at East Ruston is a must. Visit Horsey Beach between December and February for your chance to spot hundreds of grey seals and pups along the shore. We feel Beach Escape is a bit special and was the perfect holiday home for our family. Well equipped open plan kitchen with easy to operate appliances, great showers and comfy beds. So close to the quiet sandy beach - even in early August, ideal for our young grandchildren. The idyllic weather of course helped with that! The home is 5 minutes walk from a really good Chinese restaurant, a fish and chip shop and a good general store. Watsons Cafe, also nearby, is a must for a good breakfast or coffee and cake.Julia the owner was responsive to my questions and just to say here, the only items we found to have feathers were 3 scatter cushions which were hidden away in a wardrobe for the duration. Pillows and duvets were feather free.The road on the private estate has had all its holes filled - the only bumpy bit was Mill Lane off the main road leading onto the estate itself but was manageable with careful negotiation.We really loved this place and were so disappointed to find the dates we'd have liked for next year were already gone! Hopefully we can get in quicker for 2028!!
