Each enjoys its own area of large lawned garden, and there is a woodland play area away from the river. Great Yarmouth 13 miles. Norwich 22 miles. Free coarse fishing (in season), and bird watching (including European Cranes) all year. Shops and pubs 2 miles.. Both properties: Electricity by £1 meter. Bed linen included. Cot and highchair. Garden (Shared). Patio with garden furniture and gas barbecue. Woodland play area (away from river) with playhouse, slide and ropes. Parking. No smoking. Private 7 yards of single line mooring for visitor’s own boat. Rowing dinghy available. Outboard motor available for hire (£30 per day exc fuel cost). Coarse fishing in season (foc). Please note: There is an unfenced river frontage in the garden 100 yards away.

Bridge end is a splendid house fully equipped for a completely restful holiday The aspect from the French windows is typically norfolk plus wildlife .you feel the peacefulness immediately. What's not to like .!We love Norfolk and Sheila and Gary sharing their lovely home with others makes for the perfect norfolk holiday you dream of .Thank you both

Spacious accommodation, lovely hosts, a quiet and beautiful location and the access to the water and use of a boat. What more could you want!Some of the internal features are a bit tired, so it's not for everybody but certainly worked for us.

Gorgeous!!!!!!The photos do not do the place justice. It is truly beautiful and peaceful. Let me start by saying there is no wifi and no dishwasher. As there was 6 of us, with 3 teenagers and 1 preteen, this worried me a little. I can happily report that it did not matter a jot. The “kids” had a wonderful time messing about on the water. Going in the boat both rowing and with the outdoor motor (which was incredibly good value). Going all the way to Horsey Mere. It felt like we were in the Everglades with the reeds high around us. The walks are peaceful and there is also access to otherwise private paths straight to the beach. There is plenty of room for ball games in the garden and the BBQ is one of the best. The kids stopped mentioning their phones and joined in with games round the lovely table in the dining room and were up for going to one of the many private pools for hire in the area, horse riding at Squirelwood and day boat hire at Martham. If ever we had any questions Garry and Sheila would happily respond immediately. We were so well looked after. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen fully equipped. I have rented 4 cottages in the broads over the last couple of years and this is by far the best as well as being the best value for money.
