Set in a quiet, private lane, this delightful, well equipped holiday home is situated in the heart of Wroxham with lovely views from the living room and kitchen across its private, lawned garden, leading directly to the waterside, ideal for fishing enthusiasts. Cycle hire and day launches may be hired locally and moored in our quay heading. The coastline for excellent sandy beaches is only 12 miles away and the city of Norwich with its cathedrals, museums, theatres, cafes and shops is 8 miles. Bewilderwood in Horning offers an outdoor tree house adventure with zip wires, jungle bridges and marsh walks. Sprowston golf course is 5 miles away. Shops and pubs 200 metres.

Lovely location on the waters edge with a well kept garden. Property had a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and lounge furniture. Hairdryer and iron /ironing board also found to be provided (not included in itinerary). The only towel provided was a tea towel in the kitchen so you need to take your own hand towel for downstairs cloakroom too. Would have been nice to have hand soap dispensers of some kind in all toilets. Car parking was challenging due to stone planters on narrow driveway and we did not have a large car. Overall would recommend.

We have holidayed at Herons Quay for a number of years. It is a well equipped cottage and is extremely comfortable. Whilst located on the river side, there are plenty of amenities within walking distance. There are plenty of things to do nearby, river trips, narrow gauge railway, boat hire and riverside walks.The owners take great care of the property and are very helpful if needed.
