Sit and relax on the south-facing decked area, watching the boating activities; it is an ideal base from which to explore the famous waterways. The Broads are a haven for wildlife and a must for any bird-watching enthusiast. Fishing is available locally (in season) as well as daily boat hire. The Bure Valley Steam Railway runs from Wroxham to Aylsham and for children, a great day out is Bewilderwood, an outdoor adventure park just 1½ miles away. National Trust properties Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall are well worth visiting, or explore Norwich, 12 miles, with its cathedrals, museums, theatres, array of shops and cafes/restaurants. The coast is just 10 miles away with something for all the family. Beach 10 miles. Shops, pub and restaurant 600 yards.

The whole cottage could do with a deep clean all the windows inside are covered in cobwebs the step down from the rear decking area to the grass is unsafe both my wife and grandson both fell on the uneven step we planned a 4 day fishing holiday but was very disappointed to the lack of space to fish due to the boats moored directly outside the property which was not mentioned in the property listing or shown in any of the listing photos the property is in an excellent location the shower on the top floor doesn't work correctly it keeps going from really hot to freezing cold every 2 minutes all of the beds are really hard and uncomfortable I will not rebook this property

The accommodation suited us well but there are a few issues which need to be dealt with.The toilet seat in the main bathroom needs fixing as it moves on its hinges, the electric shower in the upstairs bathroom in extremely intermittent and it is difficult to get a decent shower as it reverts from cold to boiling water.A pair of kitchen scissors would be very useful.
