Many local attractions include Gt Yarmouth for family fun, the glorious beach and coastal walks at Winterton, seal watching at Horsey, the pretty market town of Acle and Cromer, famous for its seafood and pier shows. Take a trip on the river or hire a boat at nearby Wroxham, the capital of the Broads. Children will love Petitts Farm in the village or Bewilderwood close-by, a treetop adventure park.
The nearby train station offers easy access to medieval Norwich, with its fine shopping, cathedral, castle, museums and restaurants or Gt Yarmouth and Lowestoft In the other direction. Beach 10 miles. Shop, 2 pubs serving food within 150yds, fish & chips, tea rooms and deli all within close walking distance.

Reedcutters cottage was lovely, it was a good size for 4 adults and felt very comfortable, It was also nice and cosy on a very wet day. We liked the garden and parking out the front - although sadly it wasn't nice enough to sit out. We really enjoyed watching all the local wildlife - including the Marsh Harriers and Chinese Water deer in the fields over the road (and the deer on the back terrace). We liked being able to walk to the deli, the chip shop and enjoyed a meal at both local pubs. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking as well. We did think the Wi-Fi needed an upgrade as it was very slow and struggled when we had a number of devices online.

The cottage is very well equipped and in a lovely quiet location.Out of the two local pubs the Lord Nelson is closed but the ship does nice meals.We did eat at The Ferry Inn a 5 minute drive away for my Birthday meal, food is fine but service is slow.A couple of problems at the cottage ( internet and water that was scorching ) was sorted out quickly by the owners although we found the internet really slow.You will need to take toilet rolls as there were only half a one in each bathroom and one spare.One thing that needs looking at are the beds, the mattresses could do with replacing.All of us woke up with bad backs as you could feel the springs through the mattress and one night I even slept downstairs on the sofa which was more comfortable.

Comfortable well equipped cottage in a really peaceful location. Great walks around the area. Really nice food in the Ship just down the road and a lovely cafe along the riverside. A few teabags and milk upon arrival would have been nice especially if arriving after the local shop had closed. Overall would recommend as a great place to get out of the normal routine and relax.
