No smoking. Please note: There are 3 steps from the verandah to the garden, and unfenced river access.. This very comfortable, spacious lodge enjoys a peaceful riverside setting which is very good for pike fishing (Nov-Jan when there are fewer boats on the water), with its own mooring on the banks of the Bure (view from garden shown in photograph). The living room has a 28in flat screen TV, and patio doors facing the river - dinghies and day boats are available for hire nearby. Shops and inns are within 0.75 miles at the Broadland ‘capital’ of Wroxham. The city of Norwich is only 20 minutes’ drive with fine shopping, restaurants and museums. Sandy beaches are about 12 miles away at Waxham and Sea Palling. Shops and pubs within 0.75 miles.

Another great holiday at the Wherry. Lovely views and the Heron was a bonus, we called him Henry and he was there everyday and took fish from the husbands hand. One thing would suggest is that if you go in the winter months take wellies as the road and driveway has a tendency to flood a little when the weather is bad.Have already booked for next year.

No complaints as everything prefect. Already booked again for next year.The gutters need leaves removing as when it rained the water was coning over.
