We had an excellent stay at Old Bank House. Beautiful accommodation in the heart of Barnard Castle. So much to see and do, I wish we could have stayed longer! The property is beautifully furnished with comfortable beds and smart tv's in every room! Ideal as there were eight of us, so people could relax in their own space if they wished. We had a problem with the hot water upstairs on the second day but I contacted Sarah and she responded very quickly. Problem solved as she was able to sort it remotely. Sarah was also very helpful with advice of where to eat and places to visit. We dined at Babuls, which was excellent. And again at The Three Horseshoes for Sunday lunch, which again was excellent. There's so much on your doorstep from lovely shops, choclatiers, artisan bakeries and a wealth of eateries. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you 😊

We enjoyed our stay in Bank House. It had everything we needed. The bed in particular was very comfortable. The location is excellent - the centre of town is an easy walk, as is walking out of town.
