Really pleased. The cottage was booked last minute for a motorcycle trip. A very clean and homely property absolutely perfect for our needs.Mr & Mrs Murray had been very helpful offering secure parking for the M/C's.The cottage is based in Frosterly and is well placed for some of the best riding roads in Britain right from the get go.The village itself has a small co op and chippy.. fuel is at nearby Wokingham... Stanhope is also nearby with other eaters and local co op.Barnard castle is not far.. but honestly the cottage allows access to the borders, lakes and N.York moors , north Pennines and dales. Perfect!..We will be back!

This cottage is in a good area for exploring the nearby villages and towns. The owners were very nice. The accommodation was spacious. Positives. The instructions to get there need updating. Church and pub now converted to houses no sign for turning. WiFi is on and off and only useable in the dining area. We had to use our mobile data all the time. In bedroom with single beds I missed having drawers for clothes and a chair to put clothes on at night. The wardrobes were excellent but some drawers or shelves are needed. Our main issue was the kettle, you had to fill through spout and the cleanliness. The table mats and worktops were sticky and lots of dust in all areas. The owners were on holiday so this may not be usual. Recommend, new kettle, some shelves or drawers and a chair in bedroom. I hope this is useful. Having said all this we had a lovely time.

Just spent an excellent week here at Bridge End Farm. Cottage is spotless Jim and Pauline were there to welcome us on arrival. The cottage is well maintained and clean. It's situated in a quiet village just off one of the main roads in Weardale. A beautiful quiet peaceful spot.
