This holiday chalet is well equipped and comfortable. It has good central heating backed by a log burner, though it is well insulated and little heating was required while we were there. Everything is on the ground floor. There is a family bathroom with a power shower over the bath and a separate toilet. Constant hot water. Beds were comfortable, a double and two singles with trundle beds, which were easy to set up. Plenty of storage. Great views from all windows, in a forest setting. There are no local amenities, the nearest being in Oakley village about a mile away, a pleasant stroll. Plenty of places to visit, Dunfermline is a nice city, worth a visit. A great place for a break.

Fantastic find. The pictures don’t do it justice. Was a real home from home. Well equipped and cosy. In a great location for exploring the area Would definitely go back for another stay or recommend to anyone wanting to visit this area
