We cannot fault this holiday cottage in any shape or form. The cottage is warm and comfortable throughout and central heating included with the cost of the holiday is a real bonus. We actually recommended this house as a perfect place for involving the rest of the family as there is sleeping for 6 people. Amenities are exceptional and with two lounges to choose from we could share amenities or choose to follow our own solitude. The views are wonderful on all sides. Whilst exploring we found a wealth of walking, wildlife and horsey interests. Isolation, peace and quiet are fantastic or it takes a few minutes to visit the local amenities. Take outs are of a high quality, in particular in Cockfield which is a 5 minute drive. Then there are many local towns of interest such as in Barnard Castle. We need to be careful in our selection of holiday homes as our son has special needs. This and the whole family experience proved to be just the job for us. In conclusion, we loved the welcoming package of fresh milk, tea and coffee. We are already planning our next holiday here in 2027. Thank you High Bank Farm.
