As well as allowing dogs on the sofa using the throws provided, both gardens are secure. The one at the front is the bigger and with the high walls means the road out front wasnât a distraction for our dog. The kitchen was well equipped and the sofa and bed were very comfortable. The internet is slow but between days out at Raby Castle, Redcar beach and High Force Waterfall amongst others there is more than enough to occupy you in the day and Sky TV, games and shelves full of books occupied the evenings. There are also some nice walks from the cottage itself. We had a great stay and will keep this cottage on our list of ones to revisit in the future.

Everything needed was catered for. Internet a tad slow but cleanliness, facilities, long enclosed garden to keep the dogs happy and a gem of a pub a minutes' walk away for us humans, more than made up for it!
