Sleeping up to four guests, the yurt features a kingsize bed and double sofa bed, a woodburner with all wood supplied, and a kettle with tea and coffee for a warm welcome. Outside the enclosed private garden is ideal for both relaxation and dogs to stretch their legs. Guests can enjoy their own private hot tub and a separate unit provides a kitchen, walk-in shower and WC for added comfort and convenience.
Set close to the coast, Christon Bank is an excellent base for discovering Northumberland’s breathtaking beaches, castles and wildlife. Just a short drive away, Beadnell Bay is a favourite for beach walks, watersports and family days by the sea, with plenty of space for dogs to enjoy the sand too. Nearby Seahouses offers trips to the Farne Islands, where visitors can spot puffins and seals in season, while the picturesque harbour makes a lovely place to stop for fish and chips. History lovers will be drawn to the dramatic beauty of Bamburgh Castle, and the striking ruins of Dunstanburgh Castle, reached by a scenic coastal walk from Craster, are not to be missed. The area is also perfect for walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers, with miles of coastline, open countryside and unforgettable views to enjoy. Let's start with the yurt. Its great very comfortable and cosy. If you don't mind the fact it's in a back garden in full view of the occupants of the cottage. No privacy. The yurt is less than 5 metres from a main road and just on the other side of the road behind houses is a mainline railway. As you can imagine peace and quiet is NOT what your getting in a yurt. We thought we would enjoy looking out the yurts clear roof at the sky at night, unfortunately due to the main road there is a street light that's so bright you could not see the night sky. And when you decide to go to sleep it's so bright in the yurt because of the street light. The bathroom and kitchen facilities are in a separate block (ok with that it is glamping ) but you have to go past the other cottages hottub whilst quite often people are in it. One morning my wife and I went to use the bathroom facilities and there was a yoga class going on in there.The hottub was dirty when we arrived. It was emptied and cleaned when we told the owner.Location for seeing the sights of Northumberland is great.Location of the actual yurt terrible.
