Alnmouth is on the main heritage coastal route within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with miles of stunning coastline and castles to explore. Nearby Alnwick, the ducal town with its majestic castle used in Harry Potter’s Hogwarts, enchanting water gardens and cobbled streets will delight all the family. Close by is Warkworth, another popular village with its castle ruins, tea shops and galleries, which can be reached on foot for enthusiastic walkers (approx 2 miles). Stunning walks can be taken along the coastline on this stretch of the coast, and Bamburgh with its fortress of a castle should not be missed. Littlecroft is centrally located for all the North East attractions and is only 2 minutes from the mainline station and good bus service. Golf course in village. A perfect base for exploring this friendly county. Shop 50 yards, pub and restaurant 10 yards.

House is in a fantastic location and perfect for a large or extended family holiday. 5 mins to the beach which is superb and clean. Parking is at a premium in Alnmouth so this having its own space and garage is a boon. The space is large enough for a 9 seat van as that is what we had with us.House came with plenty of clean towels, Crockery, glasses and cutlery etc.Couple of issues though.Flushing the upstairs toilet causes screeching in the bedroom with the slipper bath and the slipper bath taps drip constantly which is a real pain at night.House was not particularly clean either.Garden is over grown and furniture was covered in bird poo and was in need of replacing.

My family and I had an amazing time in Alnmouth, we stayed in Little croft cottage. Fantastic location, recommend the Hope and Anchor right next door to us, great food ! The beach was lovely....amazing places to visit , Edinburgh just over an hour away by train. Cottage was beautiful, would definitely recommend....we will definitely return 🥰.. We went on a boat trip to see the Puffins and seal's...an amazing experience, drove over the causeway to Holy Island...a great day out!...we were sad to leave.

This is an excellent cottage for a large group in a beautiful location. Amenities on your door stop or a short bus into Alnwick. The local pubs and shops were very welcoming.
