Nearby Alnwick, the ducal town with its majestic castle used in Harry Potter’s Hogwarts, enchanting water gardens and cobbled streets will delight all the family. Close by is Warkworth, another popular village with its castle ruins, tea shops and galleries, which can be reached on foot for enthusiastic walkers (approx 2 miles). Stunning walks can be taken along the coastline on this stretch of the coast, and Bamburgh with its fortress of a castle should not be missed. Littlecroft is centrally located for all the North East attractions and is only 2 minutes from the mainline station and good bus service. Golf course in village. My family and I had an amazing time in Alnmouth, we stayed in Little croft cottage. Fantastic location, recommend the Hope and Anchor right next door to us, great food ! The beach was lovely....amazing places to visit , Edinburgh just over an hour away by train. Cottage was beautiful, would definitely recommend....we will definitely return 🥰.. We went on a boat trip to see the Puffins and seal's...an amazing experience, drove over the causeway to Holy Island...a great day out!...we were sad to leave.

This is an excellent cottage for a large group in a beautiful location. Amenities on your door stop or a short bus into Alnwick. The local pubs and shops were very welcoming.

Extremely comfortable and well appointed cottage.Couple of minor issues, easily rectified once I'd contacted the owner.Alnmouth is a lovely little town, Littlecroft is next to one pub and opposite another.Its a great base for exploring the area.Beds were comfortable and the sitting rooms were very cosy.One draw back, the TV in the lounge is only able to receive terrestrial channels. A smart TV is needed in that room.We loved it so much we've booked for next year.Many thanks to the owners x
