Be welcomed into a stylish property where a spacious sitting area in muted greys offers a space for you to put your feet up after a long journey and enjoy a coffee. Continuing the theme of pale monochrome décor and the feel of opulence, the kitchen/diner is spacious and offers ample amenities for you to cook up a storm, and you can enjoy a heart-warming meal at the glass dining table. There is the addition of a lovely snug overlooking the castle, ideal for relaxing with a glass of your favourite beverage. Three bedrooms await your relaxation, including a king-size zip-link with built-in storage and an en-suite, a double with purple décor and an en-suite and a second double with an en-suite and homely décor. You can picnic in the communal grounds overlooking Bamburgh castle, or head over to explore the historic structure yourself, and afterwards enjoy a hot meal at one of the local eateries. Bamburgh has a beautiful sandy beach, however the coast can be further explored with Serenity Farne Island Boat Tours at Seahouses. To learn more about the history and heritage of Northumberland, visit the fantastic Holy Island where you will find Lindisfarne Priory, Lindisfarne Castle, a sandy beach and many more interesting sites and local shops. Make a seaside getaway to remember with a stay at Keeper’s View.

The village’s sweeping sandy beaches and dramatic fortress - Bamburgh Castle - make Bamburgh one of Northumberland’s major visitor attractions. The castle can be seen for miles and dominates this part of the county’s coastline. Today it remains home to the family of the great Victorian industrialist Lord Armstrong, and is open to the public on a daily basis. Although overshadowed by the great castle, Bamburgh village is picturesque with neat grey stone cottages facing a manicured village green. There are excellent pubs, hotels with restaurants and a small selection of village shops. There are golf courses in Bamburgh and nearby Seahouses, and within easy reach are more wide sandy beaches, lovely fishing villages, stunning castles and coastal islands to explore along the dramatic Heritage Coast. There are numerous other attractions also a short drive away, including the famous Alnwick Castle and Gardens and the historic walled border town, Berwick-upon-Tweed. A superb base for exploring Northumberland.

It’s in a great location and the view is awesome. The property is very well equipped. The closest grocery store is 3 miles away so bring everything you need. The only negative is the conflicting instructions for finally leaving the property. It caused concern for us and should be clear from the beginning. This was eventually remedied by calling Sykes for clarification, who, incidentally, were very helpful with any questions we had. .

I did notice quite a few scuff marks on the walls in the stair well and shared areas, just needs a bit of attention to maintain the high standard of this wonderful property. Thank you.

We had to use the main gates to go for a walk. These gates stayed open for some time therefore security was reduced. The dining table could only be used for 4 because of the size of the kitchen. Luckily there were only 2 of us the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortable. The lounge chairs were very uncomfortable and lacked support. The heating would have taken a long time to get warm according to the instructions. Fortunately it was warm when we were there. The parking place number in the instruction binder was 8 it should have been 4. The main instruction binder was not in line with the 2 lots of instructions hanging in the kitchen. 1 lot was for arriving and the second lot was for leaving. We would not book this apartment again.
